Chicken In The Garden

Ingredients:

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 1 tbsp Frank’s Red Hot
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tbsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp paprika
  • 1 head cauliflower, cored and chopped
  • 10 oz can Cream Of Chicken Soup
  • 16 oz American cheese
  • 1.5 cups half and half
  • 8 oz block cream cheese
  • 4 cups cooked chicken (boiled, baked, or rotisserie)
  • 6 cups Broccoli florets
  • 8 oz shredded mozzarella
  • 8 oz shredded cheddar
  • 16 oz shredded Colby jack

Steps:

  1. Melt butter in large pot over low heat
  2. Add onion, and simmer until softened
  3. Add Frank’s and spices
  4. Add cauliflower and mix well
  5. Add soup
  6. Add American and cream cheese
  7. Add half and half
  8. Add chicken
  9. Add Broccoli and mix well
  10. Cover and heat for about 10 minutes to soften the cauliflower and Broccoli
  11. Put half the mixture into greased pan
  12. Layer with the mozzarella and cheddar
  13. Layer the other half of the mixture
  14. Top completely with Colby jack
  15. Cover with foil and bake at 350⁰ F for 45 minutes
  16. Remove foil and bake another 15 minutes
  17. Serve hot
