- 5 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 1 Tbsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp paprika
- 1 Tbsp onion powder
- 1 Tsp chili powder
- 1 Tsp black pepper
- 1/2 Tsp cayenne pepper
- 20 slices bacon
- 10 slices cheddar cheese
- 2 green bell peppers, sliced
- 2 red bell peppers, sliced
- 1/2 red onion, sliced
- BBQ sauce
- Preheat oven to 350° F
- Quarter chicken breasts
- Mix all seasonings and coat chicken
- Line a loaf pan with bacon slices, in order to “wrap” the ingredients in the bacon
- Layer ingredients, lasagna style
- 4 pieces of chicken
- BBQ sauce
- 5 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 pieces of chicken
- BBQ sauce
- Green peppers
- Red onions
- BBQ sauce
- Red peppers
- 5 slices cheddar cheese
- Remaining chicken
- Fold bacon over the top
- Bake covered for 1 hour, then uncovered for 30 minutes
- Remove loaf from pan and baste with bbq sauce
- Broil for 5 minutes
- Slice and serve
