Brownie:
- 1 stick butter
- 1.5 cups brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1.5 cups sifted flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
Frosting:
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 0.5 cup evaporated milk
- 1.5 cups powdered sugar
Brownie:
- Melt butter in saucepan, remove from heat
- Add sugar and blend
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well
- Stir in vanilla
- Sift together flour and baking powder, then stir into mix until well combined
- Pour into greased 9×13 baking pan and bake at 350o F for about 30 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center is clean. DON’T OVERBAKE!
- Frost with frosting
Frosting:
- Boil together for 3 minutes
- Remove from heat and let cool
- Beat in 1.5 cups of powdered sugar
