**Unstuffed Egg Rolls

  • 1.5 lbs ground beef
  • 1 large head green cabbage, thinly shredded
  • 3 small carrots, peeled and cut into matchsticks
  • 6-8 green onions, cut into 2″ pieces
  • 4-5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  1. In a small bowl, whisk garlic, ginger rdd, sesame oil and soy sauce. Set aside
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the beef. Break apart and cook until browned through
  3. Stir on carrots, cabbage and green onions and stir fry for about 3 minutes.
  4. Drizzle soy sauce mixture into the skillet and continue frying for about 4 more minutes until the veggies are crisp-tender.
  5. Sprinkle each serving with sesame seeds and additional green onions, if desired.
