- 1.5 lbs flank steak
- 1/4 cup corn starch
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic, minced
- 3/4 cup soy sauce
- 3/4 cup water
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup carrots, grated
- Green onions, for garnish
- Thinly slice the flank steak into strips
- Add together the flank steak slices and corn starch to a resealable bag
- Shake thoroughly to evenly coat the steak
- Add olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, water, brown sugar, and carrots into the slow cooker and stir to combine
- Add the coated flank steak slices and mix until everything is evenly coated in the sauce
- Cook for 4-5 hours on LOW or 2-3 hours on HIGH. Steak will be cooked through and tender.
- Serve over rice (or riced vegetables) and sprinkle with green onions
